School Head
Teachers Association for
Development of
Education offers a workshop on
Conducting Effective Meetings, an Essential Skill for School Leaders
Do you understand the dynamics of
conducting meetings?
- Are you conversant with the way of making
your suggestions more open, more flexible and more negotiable, and your
messages softer and more effective?
- Are you always at ease when you present
cogent, lucid, and balanced arguments; give strong, neutral, or tentative
opinions; and show strong, neutral, or tactful disagreement? Do you feel comfortable expressing
strong/partial support and total/tentative opposition?
- Do you know how to persuade and how to
compromise?
If the answer to any of these questions
is NO, then this workshop is for you!
This
workshop is going to be a platform to sit
together and see how efficient we are when we conduct meetings. This workshop
focuses on one of the most powerful tools of communication – language. Whether
we preside over or attend a meeting, our language matters most. School Head Teachers’ Association (SHADE) invites
you to attend this workshop on Saturday,
January 19, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m at Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational
Development.
