ASSET - "The Seventh ASSET Olympiad" on Saturday, February 09, 2013 at AKU-IED

Dear Head of Institutions / Individual Members,

It gives me a great pleasure to inform you that our team is organizing The Seventh ASSET Olympiad on Saturday, February 09, 2013 at AKU-IED. The topic of the Olympiad is:
“What can I do for Pakistan”
The Olympiad has been designed with the aim to explore the perception of children about their responsibilities towards Pakistan and to develop a positive, healthy and realistic attitude towards the betterment of Pakistan as a nation. Through this platform, the participants (students and teachers) would be given an opportunity to learn and express what they feel about it and what their views are about it. The event will focus on what can be done rather just worrying about it as explained by Steven Covey (article attached).

This event has been designed to ensure a stimulating experience for all the participants. The students will either prepare skits or make posters and in the end they will participate in a panel discussion, while the teachers will attend an informative session on the topic.
