MAP - Summer Sessions on "Innovative Ways of Teaching, Learning and Assessing Mathematics" from July 10-13, 2012

On behalf of MAP Executive Committee, we would like to invite you for the MAP Summer sessions 2012. Details are as follows:

Title:                        Innovative Ways of Teaching, Learning and Assessing Mathematics
Day/Date:                Tuesday, July 10, 2012 – Friday, July 13, 2012
Time:                        9:00 a.m. to 1:30 p.m.
Venue:                     Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development
                                 (AKU-IED), Karimabad
Target Audience:   Middle School Teachers
Facilitators:              Executive Committee Members, MAP
Registration Fee:      Rs. 1,500/-

Seats for the session are limited (40), therefore, members are requested to please fill out the attached form and submit it along with registration fee of Rs. 1,500/- (in cash or pay order, in the name of AKU-IED) to PTAN Office (PTAN c/o IED-PDC, 1-5/B-VII, F.B. Area, Karimabad, P.O Box 13688, Karachi-75950) between 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. Last date for the registration is Monday, July 9, 2012.

PN: There will be an addition post-workshop session on ‘Handheld Technology in Mathematics: Effective Use of Calculators’ to be held on Saturday, July 14, 2012 from 9 a.m. – 1:00 p.m. This workshop will be organized by CASIO.
The MAP summer workshop participants are encouraged to attend the session. If you wish to participate in this session, kindly register yourself at the PTAN office during the workshop days.
