Session Objectives:
1. To discuss importance of ethics in teaching
2. To identify key issues in teaching learning processes in schools
3. To develop key strategies to minimize / overcome these issues

Facilitator’s Profile
Ms. Zubeda Bana is an Assistant Professor at the Aga Khan University, Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED). She has extensive experience of designing and teaching teacher education and educational leadership and management programmes in a variety of settings within and outside Pakistan. She acquired a Master’s in Education in Developing Countries from the Institute of Education, University of London, and M.Ed. from University of Karachi. Her research interest lies in improving schools in disadvantaged rural areas.  As one of the founder members of the School Head Teacher Association for Development of Education (SHADE), she plays an important role in developing schools in Pakistan. She writes and presents papers in national and international forums. Her recent publication (coedited book) is Education in PAKISTAN Learning from Research Partnerships, Oxford University Press, 2012.
