Facilitators Profile:
Reshma Perveen has gained M.Ed as well as B.Ed degrees from the Notre Dame Institute of Education Karachi. She has been bestowed upon several awards on her outstanding achievements. She has also worked as a Teacher Educator and a Master Trainer at Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKESP) for a period of five year. As a facilitator, she conducted trainings to develop master trainers for EDLINKS, Islamabad and BBYDP in Karachi. Her areas of expertise include Teaching Pedagogy and School Management. Presently, she is working for AKESP as a Vice-Principal at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi.
Romana LalaRukh has completed her master’s in Genetics from Karachi University. She is also pursuing her MBA in Educational Leadership and Management from College of Business Management (CBM). She has been involved in Training and Evaluation as Assistant Manager for last five year at The Citizens Foundation (TCF), where she has been part of designing, conducting and coordinating training sessions related to Teaching Methodology, School Administration and Academic Management, and Tools, Methods & Approaches of Monitoring & Evaluation (both Process and Outcome). At TCF her responsibilities include internal audit of schools, supervise and execute sampling plan for quantitative and qualitative assessment of students and teachers competency, design tools for outcome and process evaluation of school performance. This involves 830 primary and secondary school units across Pakistan, headed by 610 principals and facilitated by 5800 teachers.
Arif Karedia works as a Director Academics at Youth Enrichment Network Pvt. Ltd. and a Principal at YEN Academy. He has done MBA from Cyprus International University and also got certification in Early Childhood Development from Aga Khan University. He has conducted a number of sessions on teachers’ development on topics like Classroom Management, Language Development, Mathematical Development, Developing Environmental Knowledge, Active Learning etc. for various organisations which include Bahira University, Shia Imami Ismaili Tariqa and Religious Education Board, Early Years Learning Association and Pakistan Children Television. He is also an acting Chairperson of School Headteachers Association for Development of Education and an executive committee member of Early Years Learning Association. Currently, he is pursuing his M. Phil in education from Iqra University.
