ASSET Collaborative Event (Colours of Pakistan) with CAP on November 17, 2012
Dear Members
It gives us a great pleasure to inform you that on November 17, 2012, ASSET is organizing a special event for school children and teachers in collaboration with The Citizens Archive of Pakistan (CAP). The theme of the event is “Colours of Pakistan”.
Pakistan is a country that has been blessed with variety in every
aspect. It is culturally, ethnically and linguistically diverse country with variation in its
geography. With a wide canvas of such diversity, it is imperative for the people of Pakistan to appreciate its
splendor.
“Colours of Pakistan” is an interactive 4-hour session that will
celebrate that
diversity. Moreover, our youth will explore how
to bridge distances between communities.
As students and teachers engage in group activities, they will be
educated about Pakistan's rich culture and heritage. They will also go through
a series of conflict resolution activities that will equip them to
conduct themselves as responsible citizens of the world. This event has been particularly designed to bring about a
stimulating experience for all the participants.
