Facilitator’s Profile:
Dr. Shahida Mohiuddin is an Educational Psychologist. She has done Ph.D in
Education from Hamdard University, Karachi and M. Phil in Education from
Karachi University. Her PhD thesis entitles“An
Evaluation of Early Childhood Education in Pakistan” and “Early Childhood Education in the Light of
the Quran” is her M. Phil thesis title. Her areas of interest are School
Leadership, School Psychology and Curriculum Development, with strong backgrounds
in Psychology, Education and Early Childhood Development. She has presented
research papers in various national and international conferences, some of
which have been published in national and international journals. She also
works as a freelance journalist.
She conducts teacher education workshops for various schools
and educational institutions. She runs her program titled ‘Fun and Learn Program for Toddlers’ which has been recognized as a
model of best practices for Early Childhood Development in Asia Pacific by Asia
Pacific Regional Network for Early Childhood (ARNEC). She has also worked as a
faculty at Foundation University-Islamabad where she taught Educational
Psychology and Educational Research to Masters and M. Phil students. Currently,
she is a visiting faculty at Bahria University- Institute of Professional
Psychology where she teaches Educational Psychology to BS students.
