Executive Committee, we would like to invite you for the EYLA workshop to be
held on Saturday, March 5, 2016.
Title: Assessment
Expected outcomes of the workshop:
By the end of
this workshop the participants will be able to;
• understand instructional model of Learning for
Mastery,
• use assessment as a tool to apply
Learning for Mastery,
• create classroom environment for mastery
oriented assessment and learning.
Date : Saturday, March 5, 2016
Timing : From 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
Venue : Aga Khan University, Institute for
Educational Development (AKU-IED)
Facilitator’s
Profile:
Ms Isbah Mustafa belongs to the field of educational
assessment. She has worked on classroom assessment, achievement tests,
standardized tests, and evaluation studies. She develops and report assessment
for all school levels. Through her work and research she argues for the use of
assessment as a tool to make students prosper.
She has worked for UNESCO, American Institutes for Research, Queensland
Curriculum and Assessment Authority, and The Aga Khan University-Examination
Board. She is a recipient of Commonwealth Distance Learning Scholarship,
Endeavour Executive Award, and the Fulbright Scholarship. These days, she is
exploring the relationship of student achievement and motivation in her PhD
from The University of Memphis-USA.

start from Friday, March 4, 2016 at 8:30 a.m. Since seating at the
workshop is limited, interested participants must confirm their participation
