SAP workshop on "Magnetize yourself with the force of Magnetism" on Saturday, February 16, 2013

 On behalf of SAP Executive Committee, we would like to invite you for the academic session to be held on Saturday, February 16, 2013. Details of the session are as follows:

 Topic:                    Magnetize yourself with the force of Magnetism

 Objectives:     At the end of the workshop participants will be able to:       

§   Explore what causes magnetic attraction, plot directions of a magnetic field, and obtain different patterns of magnetic fields from different arrangements of magnets

§  Make an electromagnet and compass needle and show its working

§  Explain the earth’s magnetic field and relate it with the use of a magnetic compass
