Questioning Skills

- Do you face difficulty in observing a teacher using questioning as a teaching technique?
- Do you want to expand your knowledge and skills about questioning skills in the class?
- Do you want to change your attitude towards teaching / learning through questioning?

If YES than this workshop is for you to develop your own skills and

knowledge in helping teachers to be effective teachers.

- Why questioning skills for Head teachers
- Some principles of questioning
- Use of wait time
- Open/close ended questions
- Handling students’ responses
- Involving non-volunteers
- Teachers interactional skills
- Use planned as well as emerging questions

Venue:            Aga Khan University,
                        Institute for Educational Development (AKU-IED).

Facilitator’s Profile:
Reshma Perveen has gained M.Ed as well as B.Ed degrees from the Notre Dame Institute of Education Karachi. She has been bestowed upon several awards on her outstanding achievements. She has also worked as a Teacher Educator and a Master Trainer at Aga Khan Education Service, Pakistan (AKESP) for a period of five year. As a facilitator, she conducted trainings to develop master trainers for EDLINKS, Islamabad and BBYDP in Karachi.  Her areas of expertise include Teaching Pedagogy and School Management.  Presently, she is working for AKESP as a Vice-Principal at Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi.
