“A teacher affects eternity; he can never tell where his influence stops”
~Henry Brooks Adams

Dear Member,
World Teachers' Day held annually on October 5th since
1994. It symbolizes the importance of a teacher in moulding the future of an individual as well as the lives of the nations. To celebrate that day ASSET is organizing a special session on Saturday, October 29, 2011. A movie will be shown that is about a teacher who has an ideology, vision and will make a change in society; moreover, he fights against the forces who want to use education for their own vested interest. The movie will be followed by a discussion and teacher’s reflections on their experiences as a teacher.
