A Single Picture is Worth a Thousand Words (Confucius)
Dear Member,
This month ASSET is organizing a workshop on drawing as a means of
expression. Art forms are powerful visual means of dealing with political,
economic and social issues. Children learning and understanding can be enhanced
by integrating them in Social Studies class.
Session’s
objectives:
The workshop objectives are to enhance participant’s creativity,
exploring the artist inside them and help them to bring out their ideas on
different issues and express them through drawing. Moreover, participants will
be able to take back the concept of Drawing
Ideas to their classrooms.
We expect participants will bring along with them drawing material i.e.
pastel colours, oil colours, colour pencils, crayons, brushes etc, and most
importantly their ideas about local and global issues.
