PAIE- Summer Session from June 24-26, 2014

Dear Member,

On behalf of PAIE Executive Committee, we would like to invite you for the PAIE Summer Session to be held from June 24, to June 26, 2014. This session includes two important areas for teachers. One relates to teaching techniques while the other will help the teachers develop better personas by helping them gain control over their own emotions, attitudes and behaviors. Details of the sessions are as follows:

v  SIGHT READING

Many students in primary schools face difficulty in reading. An established technique to help them is ‘Sight Reading’ i.e. recognizing a word on sight, without analyzing the letter sound or using any language cues. This eventually leads to development of reading skills. Therefore this is an important technique to enrich child's vocabulary. Workshop would include:

 

•           Details on how to use and benefits from the technique

•           Material preparation techniques i.e. making cards, developing books and related games

v  ORIENTATION TO MIND SCIENCES TECHNIQUES

Practicing ‘Mind Sciences; techniques allows a person to enhance the functioning of the human mind, thereby increasing their mental capabilities. This session will introduce you to basic techniques including:

•           Reiki

•           Silva Method

•           4D (Fourth Dimension)

•           Hypnosis

•           NLP (Neuro- Linguistic Programming)

•           Mental Communication

•           How to Attract Money

•           Meditations (Chakra, Mental Messaging, Young Look, Weight Loss, Mind Relaxing and Anti-Depression)

Day/Date:       June 24 - 26, 2014 (Tuesday-Thursday)

Time:              9:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Venue:            AKU-IED, Karimabad

Course Fee:    Rs. 3,000/- (Cash or Pay order in the name of "The Aga Khan University")

Facilitators:   Ms. Yasmeen Muhammad, Special Educator (Learning Disability), Montessori Directress (A.M.I: Association Montessori International, Holland) and Ms. Aliya Nasir, Mind Sciences Expert
