On behalf of MAP Executive Committee, we would like to invite you for the MAP workshop to be held on Saturday, April 30, 2016. Details are as follows:

Title:                             “Percentages/fractions and their uses in daily life

Facilitators:                    Tabinda Kanwal, Asma Mamsa and Madiha                         
                                     
Objectives of the workshop:

·         Recognize and generate equivalent forms of commonly used fractions, decimals, and percentages.
·         Appreciate the role of fraction and percentage in daily life.
·         Discuss and identify the common misconceptions arise while teaching fractions and percentages.

Facilitator’s Profile:

Tabinda Kanwal is an O- level teacher at BeconHouse School. She has done her MS in Applied Mathematics from NED University. She has also published two research papers in an International Journal. She is a member of MAP Executive Committee.

Aasma Mamsa is working as an Academic Coordinator in a reputed school system. She is a MEd graduate from the Aga Khan University Institute for Educational Development. (AKU-IED). She is a member of MAP Executive Committee.
