SAP Summer Session on “Develop – Holistic Thinkers in a Science Classroom” at PTAN Hyderabad

Science Association of Pakistan is pleased to invite you for a summer short course.

Title: “Develop – Holistic Thinkers in a Science Classroom”

Aim of this short course is to motivate science teachers (of all levels) to develop holistic thinking among students through questioning.

Objectives of the Short Course:

By the end of this course participants will be able to:

• Define holistic thinking in their own words.
• Discuss and compare some science concepts with reference to development of holistic thinking.
• Design some activities for different class levels based on holistic thinking.
• Formulate questions on different topics for developing holistic thinking.

Time: 9:45 a.m. – 1:45 p.m.
Date: July 19 – 21, 2011
Venue: H. H. Prince Aga Khan Higher Secondary School Amynabad, Hyderabad
Facilitators: Executive Committee Members, SAP
Registration Fees: Rs. 300/-
