Sub topic: How to create a Mindful Classroom

Workshop objectives:
The workshop will provide opportunity to the participants to:
·         Identify the term "Mindfulness" and its historical background
·         Explore the breathing exercise that will enable them and their students to be fully mindful
·         Identify the difference in between being mindful and brain-full
·         Become aware of the various advantages of mindfulness especially in our classrooms
·         Design activities to create a mindful classroom


Faciltator Profile:                                                                                                                                

Ikhlas Saeed, lecturer at Aga khan Higher Secondary School, Karachi. She is currently doing her masters in English Literature from University of Karachi. She has completed her bachelors in Mechanical Engineering from NED University of Engineering and Technology. Moreover, she has completed the practitioner and master practitioner levels of a certified course on Neuro-Linguistic Programming. Basically, her area of interest is the holistic development of individuals.
