Brief Intro of the Facilitator:
Azmina Afzal, is a PhD scholar at Institute of Educational Management. She holds Masters of Education from Hamdard University, an MPhil in Education and MBA in Educational Management from Institute of Business Management (IOBM).  She has extensive experience of teaching, curriculum monitoring, teacher education, career guidance and management programs in variety of settings.  She works at Foundation Public School as an Academic Head and a Visiting Faculty at Institute of Business Management. Her research interests include exploring effective simulations of teaching and learning, curriculum development, teachers’ performance appraisal system, teachers' pedagogical knowledge and its influence on students' learning.

Mr Farid Azim Qureshi is a researcher of Occult Sciences, poet, writer and music composer. He is well versed in hypnotic melody and spiritualism. He is a student of Zheel Sciences, a Samda Healer and invented the love of healing. He was designated to be the Coordinator International Sector by Zheel Sciences Institute. Mr. Qureshi is the founder member and project coordinator of Diamond Chain of International Spiritualists. He served as Project Director- English Language Program for about 5 years in World Group of Educational Institute where he designed various check-sheets and conversational dialogues' modules.

Facilitator's profile
Mr Zubair Hussain Shaikh holds a Master’s degree in Literature and has done B.ed from University of Karachi. With his rich experience spread over 17 years in the field of education, he works at ERDC as Project Manager. He is the author of presidential award winning series Mera Iqbal and co-author of a number of books for children. He is known for his innovative teaching methods and strategies for teaching language. He has an extensive experience of conducting teacher-training programs in urban and rural areas of Pakistan on a wide range of topics related to pedagogy and academic leadership. Zubair has worked on different projects of book development, training and evaluation with Sindh textbook board, Aga khan Education Services Pakistan, Iqbal Academy Pakistan, The Citizens Foundation, Developments in literacy, Indus Resource Centre, and Thardeep Rural Development Program.

She has also done internship in Audiology from National Hearing Services, Karachi and worked as an Audiology Assistant at Shifa International Hospital, Islamabad. She has also worked as Speech Therapist with various schools and institutions.

She applies her skills to design and facilitate short and long-term arts workshops for teachers. Currently, she is working as art educator and freelance artist. She has participated in various exhibition and community based art projects. She has also worked as lead facilitator in various organizations and projects.

EYLA session title “ Managing Children Behaviour” on August 15, 2015

The four (4) hour session is aimed at imparting understanding regarding children's behavior and its management; including the reasons for the behavioral problems and effective ways to prevent and handle those problems according to the unique needs of a child.

Facilitator’s Profile:
Ms. Quratul Ain Ahmed is an Educational Psychologist and currently pursuing her doctoral degree in Psychology at the University of Karachi. She also renders services of psychological counselling in educational communities; including students, teachers, parents and educational specialists. She is also associated with a private school’s professional developmental center, where she is practicing as a teacher trainer, in addition to working as a training consultant with other educational organizations. Currently, she is engaged in a research study regarding cognitive development in children.

Due to Independence Day holiday, on Friday, August 14, 2015, the registration for the workshop will be done on Thursday, August 13, 2015.
